The Legendary Super Saiyajin transformation that Broly could perform had a matching power of that of a SSJ2, still it had 1 ability, the ability that made his power grow seamlessly. Now if Broly wouldnt have died so fast he would have easily achieved the power of a SSJ3 in a matter of hours and the longer he lived, the more powerful he was. If Broly would have kept his LSSJ state for longer he could have easily become the strongest DBZ character. There is even a fanart manga called Dragon Ball Multiverse that faces-off Vegito and Broly just because broly stayed alive longer, its hard to explain why but just google dragon ball multiverse. Still, Broly died so he didnt become the strongest, Vegito in other hand is the strongest, now i have a question: In Raging Blast 2 Broly can achieve LSSJ3.....is that transformation even logic, would it have the same ability as LSSJ just that the power would raise faster? Who knows.. Do you agree with me? |

Broly's power didn't grow continuously. It grew continually. Re-occurring periodically. Every few dozen minutes his power would grow, so in that time frame when he's not powering up he could be beaten. But everyone has a limit. You can't just keep getting stronger by powering up, you have to train. Broly's limit is unknown, but he would hit the wall eventually. |

Well, The Director of Movie 8/10 said that Broly's power is immeasurable because it's always growing. That is literally the only argument you could have for him being the strongest. |

The strongest is what broly was supposed to be in his movies, as the universe they lived in , had being a super saiyan not very special, and being the legendary SSJ all sorts of special. So yeah, the hulk form, the seemingly unlimited strength, ( which is actually limited) and the fact hes sadistic. But since the movies stick to the story that broly is/was the strongest saiyan? Then its true. But not canon wise. Canon wise goku is the LSSJ. Broly is not the strongest character nor never will be. He stops at good buu, or gets stopped. Doesnt matter. The broly in the DBM, is the only broly to fight vegito, because he was the ONLY broly that had that special power. BTW? that broly was a good guy and he trained with the Zfighters. I have Broly movie 8 under SSJ2 level. I didnt heard about his abbility to get power growth all the time. Not realy. Broly in movie 8 had limit and he neaded to relise his energy for body to be stable like before. Later he powers up which means he clearly neads powering up because his power is not growing without powering up. Its big ? if Broly could becomes the strongest but i think he could be number 1. I mean he is LSSJ. No. SSJ3 for Broly is like Broly going SSJ2. LSSJ is his ultimate form and SSJ3 on top of LSSJ is just illogical. Its ruins LSSJ status. |

Brolys strength doesnt grow, it replenishes. He has a rage boost recharge. LSSJ ONLY trumps SUPER SAIYAN, not any other grade form. Broly was SSJ2 level in his LSSJ form in movie 10. So that means that his SSJ form is just over gokus. and his LSSJ form is <= with canon SSJ2 goku. Edited by Paikuan extreme, Jun 7 2012, 07:39 PM.

If you're saying his power does end and only replenishes I would then say it would be Vegito. But if Brolys power never stopped growing then in a weeks time he would have surpassed any PL seen in the canon anime. To the guy who replied saying Goku is the legendary super saiyan in canon, hes not. In the anime he was thought ot be until vegeta became super saiyan. The ''legend'' of the super saiyan is that actually one could only achieve that transformation in a 1000 years. Now the ''legend'' of the super saiyan among the saiyans was that transformation of Broly. This isnt canon but if any Bardock was the first SSJ, therefore he would be the cool demons legendary super saiyajin story. Edited by Edthebig, Jun 7 2012, 08:02 PM.

There's an interview with Shigeyasu Yamauchi where he says that Broly's power is always growing. I can't seem to find it now. I'll keep digging and post it here. |

I have yet to read the "ever growing or rising" saying to mean he gets as strong as he wants at will. Otherwise he wouldnt have recharged 3 times in the movie. Edited by Paikuan extreme, Jun 7 2012, 08:12 PM.

Alright, there. Found it. This is from an interview with Takao Koyama, the writer of all the Broly movies. I can't paste the text on here because it comes out all weird. It basically says that Broly's power is always rising. Broly's PL. (Scroll Down) |

From what I understand of Broly, his power level continues to rise while he's in legendary super saiyan form but his body can only hold so much energy so he has to constantly release energy or he'll explode. That's why during the fight he'll randomly let off energy spheres in between fighting the z fighters like at 1:10 of this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjPy8tmJgUU Edited by Pylons, Jun 7 2012, 08:34 PM.
